It is a great pleasure to introduce JMUN, a conference that includes more than a series of formal debates. JMUN is an experience designed to help students grow both academically and socially while discovering their own potential.
From an educational perspective, JMUN encourages participants to think critically about real-world issues. Delegates research global topics, analyze different viewpoints, and learn how to express their ideas clearly and confidently. Through discussion, and collaboration, students develop essential skills such as problem solving, public speaking, and decision making. These skills that are valuable not only in academic life, but in every future career.
The social benefits of JMUN are equally important. The conference creates a space where students from different backgrounds come together for a common purpose. Delegates learn how to listen respectfully, work as a team, and communicate with empathy. Many participants leave JMUN with new friendships, stronger self confidence, and an appreciation for diversity and cooperation.
As Secretary General, I truly believe that JMUN offers a unique opportunity for students to challenge themselves in a supportive and inspiring environment. It is a place where ideas are respected, voices are heard, and growth happens naturally.
We look forward to welcoming students who are eager to learn and be part of a unique experience that is far more than a conference.
Warm regards,
Ece Zeytin

It is an absolute pleasure to welcome you to MCjMUN. Hosting such a meaningful and valuable conference at our school and supporting such an engaged group of students on their path to success and new experiences is truly an honor.
Before we begin, I would like to sincerely thank all of our delegates, chairs, co-chairs, teachers, and my dedicated secretariat team for the effort and commitment that went into organizing this conference.
JMUN is a special event that brings students together, offering a unique opportunity to develop skills in diplomacy, collaboration, and leadership. It is a signature conference that reflects hard work, teamwork, and determination. Beyond academics, this experience is also socially enriching, with activities, social events, and coffee breaks that allow participants to form lasting connections.
Here at MCjMUN, delegates will strengthen their critical thinking abilities and appreciate the importance of dialogue through structured speeches and rigorous debate. After careful consideration, our Secretariat has selected four committees for this year: UNEP, UNICEF, UNESCO, and WHO. Through these simulations, students will be challenged to make essential decisions and learn to act responsibly while considering the consequences of every possible outcome.
As the Deputy Secretary General, I am proud to be part of a conference that encourages young people to engage with global issues and grow both academically and personally . I hope that every participant leaves MCjMUN with greater confidence, valuable memories, and a deeper understanding of international cooperation.
We look forward to welcoming you to an unforgettable conference.
Warm regards,
Bahar Topal
